Hi,so went to the specialist at Gleneagles yesterday to see what's happening to the lump..I was calm,not very nervous at all..Saw the doctor walking in and I was like giggling a lot because of his appearance..He was wearing a butterfly bow at the collar there and his hair was combed so neatly like as if you're in the 1950s again..He's quite humourous which is not very common among doctors.Anyway,the doctor said he'll operate in the afternoon at the last period slot..My mum,aunty and I were quite taken aback because we didn't know it'll be today..But I think I kinda expected it..Went home to take a rest before admitting to the hospital.Actually after operation can go back home,but for safety precautions,they let me stay..I quite like it this way coz I wanted to experience staying in the hospital..Lols..Admitted to hospital already and the nurse came to check my blood pressure and asked me to change to the hospital clothes.Very uncomfortable leh..Just as I wanted to sit down,a male nurse came with a wheelchair and asked me to sit on it..I was like, 'Huh?You really want me to sit on it?'The feeling was quite excited lor..They pushed me to the waiting room in the operating theatre with my mum accompanying me..Inside,I heard baby crying only and the nurses' and doctors' hurried footsteps.The anaesthetist came and asked me some questions and long after,I was really inside the room.Firstly,the anaesthetist insert a needle to my left hand's vein and putting some I don't know what thing and give me the thing for me to breathe and within seconds,I was asleep.Thirty minutes later,I was awakened by one of the nurse and my whole body just had no energy at all.I as pushed back to the ward and slowly,I shifted from the bed to another.About 1 hour later,I regained all my energy and no longer feel tired whatsoever,but the nurse came every hour to check my blood pressure.By 6,I was famished!!I ordered the western one.It tasted very nice though the pasta was bland.Watched tv all the way.At 10+,Daddy came and see me and left at around 11.My sleep was somehow quite uuncomfortable without my favourite bolster and the nurse came to check my temperature and blood pressure at 2am.So I was sleeping and awake and this was repeated for umpteen times..Woke up at 8am.Breakfast came and I ate it quite heartily..Hehes..Again,it's the western style.There's french toast,chicken sausages and 1 whole grilled tomato with 2 slices of wholemeal bread,milo and apple juice.Sounds a lot,but it's just nice.Daddy came at 9am and the doctor came at 10+.He changed my wound and the nurse pulled out the needle inserted to the vein.The needle got at least 3cm leh..Red colour somemore(obviously,it's blood)..Need to go back for checkup next Saturday and by that time,the results should be out.Oh,the I don't know what thing has been sent to the Pathologist to analyse it..Then,gave me 2 weeks MC of no PE..Light ones should be fine,but no strenuous ones..So went to the cashier to pay all my bill.It came to about $4000.Expensive right??Lols..Left the hospital and head home..This incident got a lot of 1st time leh.1st time anaesthetise my whole body,1st time sitting on a wheelchair,1st time in the operating theatre and 1st time eating hospital food.Hahahas..That's all for now..Tata..
